Common questions
Which AP calculators are available?
APUSH, AP English Language, AP World History, AP US Government, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, and AP Psychology. Search or browse by subject category below.
How does the composite score work?
Each AP exam converts raw section scores (MCQ correct answers, FRQ rubric points) into a weighted composite total. The composite is then matched to estimated score bands to predict the final AP 1–5 score.
Why do different subjects have different composite maximums?
College Board weights each section differently by subject. For example, APUSH uses a 130-point composite while AP Calculus uses a 108-point composite. The calculator handles each subject's weighting automatically.
